Alumni Spotlight - Adam Levin: Masters of Spanish Guitar

  • 2801 16th Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20009 United States (map)

We invite you to join us on Saturday afternoon, October 22 for a solo concert featuring a member of the Fulbright community.

Fulbright Scholar and acclaimed American guitarist Adam Levin will perform at the historic Former Residence of the Ambassadors of Spain in Columbia Heights.

Praised as an “exciting and powerful player who takes chances” by Soundboard Magazine, Adam received a Fulbright scholarship to explore contemporary Spanish guitar repertoire in Madrid. His three-year residency resulted in a major collaboration with 30 Spanish composers spanning four generations, each of whom wrote works dedicated to him.

In an event co-sponsored by SPAIN Arts & Culture and the National Capital Area Chapter of the Fulbright Association, Adam will present an afternoon of classical guitar music that unites beloved Spanish classics with works from today’s modern masters.

Additional information about the concert is available here. Tickets are limited. Please register using SPAIN Arts & Culture's Eventbrite page.

We hope you can join us for this exciting event!
